The majestic THIEVING MAGPIE, a two-CD live set from 1988, acts as a sort of parting of the ways for symphonic prog-rock group Marillion and its notorious lead singer, Fish. The Peter Gabriel-esque lead singer, who ever had an undercurrent of ferocity in his melodious voice, left the heralded band on a high note.
