Based in Mnster, Germany, the quintet has been heavily influenced by old school Swedish death metal bands like Fleshcrawl, Unleashed, and Grave, while injecting a modern metalcore attitude into the template. Produced by Alexander Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn, Mercenary), the album is also notable for its concentration on melody, proving that Neaera is much more than a band of angry young metalheads.
