What is your favorite thing about being an author?I love hearing
from readers who tell me how my work has inspired and encouraged
them on their path of sobriety and good health. Just a few of those
types of letters make all the hard work worthwhile.Are you "six
degrees of separation" away from anyone famous?When I was working
as a personal chef, one of my clients was John Guare, the
playwright of "Six Degrees of Separation." Does that count?Favorite
dessert?I adore a really good cannoli.What food could you not live
without?PizzaHow do you cheer yourself up when you're feeling
down?Whenever I'm feeling like I need rejuvenation, I go out in my
backyard and enjoy all of nature's gifts. I'm an avid gardener and
backyard birder and have lots of feeders set up and flowers growing
that attract a variety of birds and critters who never fail to put
a smile back on my face.
