About the Author

Mem Fox is an educator and international literacy expert, and her many acclaimed picture books for young children include Yoo-Hoo, Ladybug!; Hello Baby!; Baby Bedtime; I'm an Immigrant Too; the bestselling modern classics Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes and Time for Bed; and, for adults, Reading Magic: Why Reading Aloud to Our Children Will Change Their Lives Forever. Laura Ljungkvist has written and illustrated several picture books, including Pepi Sings a New Song and Follow the Line, which was a Los Angeles Times Best Book of the Year. Laura's dynamic artwork has been featured in The New Yorker as well as in merchandising and advertising campaigns for Barney's, Neiman Marcus, IKEA, and MoMA. She lives with her family in Brooklyn, New York.
