About the Author

Stephenie Meyer graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in English. She lives with her husband and three young sons in Phoenix, Arizona. Twilight was her first novel. Ilyana Kadushin's numerous credits range from stage to screen. Her television work includes Sesame Street, Nickelodeon, Discovery, BBC America and MTV. She is also a singer and songwriter, and member of the duo Lythion.

With a superhero vibe enhancing the romantic vampire mystique, the Meyer novel holds all the high seriousness and roiling emotional appeal of 19th-century gothic melodrama while incorporating plenty of action.
