About the Author

Dolly Bhargava is a Disability Specialist Speech Pathologist who has also completed a Masters in Special Education from the University of Newcastle, UK. Dolly works with children, adolescents and adults with complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. She has experience working in a variety of different setting such as schools, accommodation, post school options, supported employment and prisons. Many of the individuals Dolly supports have experienced degrees of abuse, neglect, family disharmony, repeated bullying, as well as drug and alcohol addiction. Through her experience providing comprehensive training both nationally and internationally, she has learnt the importance of looking beyond the tip of the iceberg and focusing on what is below the surface of an individual who is lacking the skills needed to effectively manage a challenging situation. She has also developed the Rainbow of Emotions app (available from the iTunes store) and the Getting Started Series.
