About the Author

Johannes O. Jakobi, geboren 1948 in Schmalwasser/Sandberg (Bayrische Rhön), lebt heute in Schlangenbad. Nach dem Studium der Soziologie, Politologie und Germanistik promovierte er zum Doktor der Philosophie und arbeitete die folgenden Jahre als Studienrat an einem Frankfurter Gymnasium. Ein vierjähriger Aufenthalt in Namibia inspirierte ihn zu literarischen Arbeiten. Es entstanden zunächst der Band "Africamerone", eine Sammlung von Kurzgeschichten verschiedener namibischer Autoren der Literaturgruppe "Doppelpunkt", verlegt in Namibia, dann die beiden Bände von Kurzgeschichten in der Reihe Edition Literatur des Afra-Verlages "Der lange Tod der Hibiskusblüte" und "Im Haus der Nachtkatze"."Die schönen Töchter der Morbid Invest" widmen sich einem neuen Themenbereich: die Branchen eines Firmenimperiums. Aktuelle Bücher behandeln skurrile Kriminalfälle, oder haben Geschichten für Kinder zum Thema.
