Reviews

"an illuminating and important book" - ESPNcricinfo "a welcome reminder of what the game still has to overcome" - All Out Cricket "pithy new analysis" - Gideon Haigh "rigorously researched and written" - the Independent "the people that Jakeman has sought out to add to the book are fascinating and if you are a fan of Test cricket this is a must read. What Jakeman set out to do here is laudable, perhaps even more impressive is the fact that he managed to do it" - Peter Miller "in pulling all the strands together within one volume Jakeman provides a valuable point of reference to the state of play at what may be seen in years to come as a pivotal phase in cricket's evolution" - The Sports Bookshelf
