About the Author

Minard belongs to the first generation of sound artists. He transforms public spaces, museums, and galleries all over the world. His work evokes feelings of natural growth and life, although he works with high-tech equipment. Nature and technology are given new perspectives through Minard's work. Jean-Michel Lejeune is the art director of the IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique - Centre Pompidou), Paris.
