Reviews

"A reliable handbook to all the provinces of the country, it should be of great value to students, travelers, and businessmen alike, and should be assured of much use."-Stanley G. Payne Hilldale-Jaume Vicens Vives Professor of History University of Wisconsin-Madison

"During my 30 years of teaching at the secondary school level, I wished many times for just this sort of book. Not only is the information practical, up to date and comprehensive, but the format allows students to understand something of the process through which Spain has come to be the country it is today. While the weightier aspects of history can be found elsewhere, this condensation provides the basics and adds bits of culture that add the real flavor of Spain today."- Nancy A. Humbach, past president American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese

?Students who need to write reports about Spain may find this a very useful resource....Recommended for larger collections.?- VOYA

?This book will be a valuable reference for all students of Spanish civilization. It deserves a place in all high school, publlic, and academic libraries.?-ARBA Online
