Both have earned a Ph.D. in Microwave Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Prakash Bhartia is Director General at the Defense Research Establishment, Ottawa and holds a Ph.D. in Electromagnetics from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.
