Reviews

"Psychedelic Horizons fits nicely into the border between more mainstream and transpersonal psychology ... a good introductory overview of some important topics in transpersonal psychology." -- L.M. Leitner PsycCRITIQUES (APA Review of Books) "Psychedelic Horizons makes for fascinating reading ... very thought-provoking, informative and entertaining." -- Bruce Sewick Erowid "Roberts's ideas are described in a refreshing and remarkably personal way. ... a fascinating examination of the possibilities for the human mind." High Times "His chapter on 'Snow White-Grof's Landmarks in Disney's Land' is a whimsical, psychedelic interpretation of Snow White that will change the way you read this fairy tale." Tripzine "An outstanding study of the human mind and what may actually be beneficially derived from the use of psychedelic experiences for the human mind, body, and overall cognitive processes." Midwest Review of Books "In part three, 'Multistate Mind', the book goes from being interesting to mind boggling." Plausible Futures Newsletter "Psychedelic Horizons will hopefully lead the way towards an enlightened view of psychedelics and their responsible use, in the West and throughout the world." -- Martin Williams Undergrowth "He proposes essential and radical reformulations of ideas in medicine, psychology, and education. ... My world is richer, more open, and more inviting now." -- James Fadiman "The initial effect ... is puzzling, a state where i felt something deeper existed within the fragments being layed out ... and then there is an 'a ha!' moment where the pieces click in to place. From then on the book unfolds aspect after aspect of original thought, leading to a brighter future view - an affirming trip." -- Kelly Morris The Lancet "Walsh and Roberts are surely right to argue that no psychology or science that ignores psychedelics can be complete." The Scientific and Medical Network "'A good read for anybody interested in psychedelics, or altered or expanded (multi) states of Consciousness. ... I want to do Tom's classes!" -- Francis C. Biley, Bournemouth University
