Reviews

[I]t is an invaluable source of information with an extensive list of references.

Any practitioner of ECT must own this book, and be thoroughly familiar with its contents. As an outgrowth of work done by the APA Taskforce on ECT, it presents 'standard of practice' recommendations on this procedure. In its second edition, it is highly current. Even psychiatrists who do not personally conduct ECT treatments will find it useful as a reference.
