About the Author

Anna Barlett lives in a long house on a foggy mountain in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Having always loved to draw and paint, she made and sold hand-painted handbags for three years (over 500 were sold) which helped to paint quickly. Anna started Shiny Happy Art in 2003 and has built a solid blog following. She unrolled the Paint Along side of Shiny Happy Art in December 2011, and since then has welcomed over 430 people to paint in her studio, with up to 21 painters per session.
