Gr 5-8-Picasso and Matisse are arguably two of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Their works and philosophies brought about a revolution in modern art and birthed artistic movements. The clear and lively texts also discuss their influences and legacies in two-page, chronological chapters. A time line runs along the bottom of many pages. Captioned, full-color and black-and-white photographs and art reproductions are liberally scattered throughout.
