About the Author

Jessica Cairns worked as an international banker in the heart of London with Borough market on her doorstep, and after a sojourn in Barcelona, returned to Johannesburg where she was inspired by local market trends to co-write Market Food. Dianne has an MA in South African Literature and an MA in Creative Writing (UCT). She has published over 30 books. When not exploring markets, she writes and gives creative writing workshops. Lissa Stewart is a passionate food photographer who aims to capture the emotion and creativity integral to food production. She has an MSc in Environmental Sciences and has loved cooking from an early age.
