About the Author

Maya Berger is a survivor of a rare autoimmune disease that affects the spine and bigger joints (Ankylosing Spondylitis). Her's is a story of healing, overcoming great odds by traveling the world in search of the cure and ultimate success in becoming a mother. As a first-time author, Maya says if she can do it, so can you. She lives with her husband and beautiful daughter in Zagreb, Croatia.
