Dawn DeVries is John Newton Thomas Professor of Systematic Theology at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. She was a delegate for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to the eighth assembly of the World Council of Churches. She is the editor of the New Westminster Dictionary of Christian Theology.
