About the Author

Hilda Vaughan was a Welsh novelist and poet who published 10 novels and the highly regarded novella "A Thing of Nought." She was the wife of award-winning writer Charles Langbridge Morgan. Jane Aaron is a professor of English studies at the University of Glamorgan and the author of "A Double Singleness: Gender and the Writings of Charles and Mary Lamb." She is also the editor or coeditor of books and anthologies that include "Nineteenth-Century Women's Writing in Wales," "Our Sisters' Land," "Postcolonial Wales," and "A View across the Valley."
