About the Author

Yixian Quek has been scribbling and doodling in her diary since she was seven. To date, she has written 13 dairies, two children's storybooks, and countless blogs which were discarded along the way, contributing to an enormous amount of cyber junk. Her first book, The Book That Was Handed Down won the inaugural Hedwig Anuar Children's Book Award 2011. Happily Ever After Is So Once Upon A Time is her second book, and it was published under the 'Beyond Words: Young & Younger' initiative by the National Arts Council, Singapore. The title has been translated into Korean, and is also available as an interactive storybook on the App Store. Yixian is currently working on a photography project.
