About the Author

In a countryside in Trinidad, West Indies, I was the first born to my poor parents. By age ten I was instinctively a marksman in slingshot use, in casting the fish net, and in shooting river fish with a self-made mask plus bow and arrow. Whensoever I sought prey and returned home empty-handed my dinner would be dull, and I learnt firsthand the importance of being more sharp and ready to strike with success every time I went hunting. That philosophy stayed with me thereafter and contributed to all of my successes. Whilst a young physician working at the General Hospital, Port of Spain, I took to sports to find new friends, recreation and challenges. In my mid-thirties I excelled in tennis, keep-fit, scuba diving and hunting at sea. I once escaped drowning by a hair's breadth at 60feet when my spear gun rebound in a rear shot knocking away my air supply. I fell in love with golf, the greatest challenge to my ego, at age thirty-eight. As my handicap tumbled the demand for increased skills in the game became obvious. In the absence of books and persons to help improve my swing and after some five years of fun, I walked away from the golf course in answer to a higher calling over and beyond the recreational game. I committed myself to researching the human golf swing in a bid to unrest from the swing its secrets, and these I later felt relieved to win after an epic struggle that lasted nearly two decades. In The Golf Swing Manual I share these secrets, all gems to me, with golfers of today, of tomorrow and forever, worldwide.
