"This is a fascinating portrait of a complex artist. Recommended for academic and larger public library art collections."-Library Journal Library Journal "The virtue of Janet Abramowicz's recent book on [Morandi] ... is that it situates Morandi more fully in his time and his place without in any way detracting from the genuinely, touchingly modest aspects of his life."-Jed Perl, New Republic -- Jed Perl New Republic
