About the Author

Deborah Viëtor-Engländer ist in London geboren und aufgewachsen. Nach einem Studium an der Universität London folgte die Promotion in Tübingen. Bis 1992 hatte sie eine Planstelle an der Universität Saarbrücken inne, seit 1992 an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Deborah Viëtor-Engländer ist Herausgeberin der Edition der Werke Alfred Kerrs (Band 4 Sucher und Selige 2009). Weitere Publikationen: Faust in der DDR (1986), Herausgabe von The Legacy of Exile (1998) und der Reihen Jüdische Bibliothek und Exil-Dokumente. Sie veröffentlichte zahlreiche Publikationen zu Exil, KZ-Literatur, Shoah.
