About the Author

Kilian Graf, geb. 1980 in Heidelberg, studierte an der Freien Universität Berlin und dem Klaus Mehnert Institut in Kaliningrad Politik- und Europawissenschaften. Zahlreiche Forschungsreisen nach Osteuropa - besonders in die Republik Moldau - legten die empirische Grundlage für die in der Dissertation vertretenen Thesen. Die Ausarbeitung der Dissertation erfolgte im Anschluss am Osteuropa-Institut der FU Berlin und wurde im Juli 2010 angenommen.
