About the Author

Grandmaster Raymond Keene is a former British champion, and the most prolific chess author ever, has more than 100 books to his credit. He not only is one of the most widely-read authors, with sales exceeding one million books, but a widely popular chess columnist for the Spectator (London) and London Times. He was the co-author, with Garry Kasparov and Eric Schiller, of Batsford Chess Openings, the all-time best-selling opening reference book.
