Islay Auty is a Fellow of The British Horse Society, BD accredited coach and judge and has a degree in Education. In her four decades in the horse industry her area of expertise has evolved in the development of under 21 riders and in training coaches. She has International experience in these fields, as well as regularly coaching many competitive partnerships.
This book focuses on the skills of coaching rather than how to
teach the actual skills of riding. In true Islay Auty style this
book is easy to read and hard to put down. It's packed full of
useful, easy to find information, making it perfect for anyone who
is thinking of, or already training for the UK Coaching Certificate
in Equestrian Sport, as well as anyone who is newly qualified or
still studying for their teaching certificate.
The book is written in an interactive style with thought provoking
