Isabelle Simler graduated from the Graduate School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg. Since then, she has written and illustrated several picture books, all of which focus on the natural world. Isabelle Simler leads drawing workshops for children based on The Blue Hour, teaching students how to represent nature through the lens of a single color. She lives in Paris.
