About the Author

I write young adult fiction where danger, suspense, romance, and God collide. Many of my characters have been dealt harsh circumstances, but as in reality, God has the power to give hope, perform miracles, and change lives. I've had lots of nicknames over the years such as Jay, Juju, Jules, Lizzie, and Julio. A tom-boy and girly-girl all wrapped into one. Growing up, I would spend one hundred percent of my earned allowance on books. I would always be found on the porch swing or in my room reading and listening to music. Today, I'd never part from my Kindle. Yet, walking into a library, breathing in the mixed scent of paper, ink and glue, still brings a smile to my face. My writing buddies include my German Shepherds and a Maltese who sometimes tries to take over my keyboard. I love God, my family, animals, chocolate and books.
