Reviews

"Iowa-class battleship aficionados will need to add Stillwell's Battleship Missouri to their library. The rest of us will be glad to know it's there." --Nautical Research Journal "Since it is the last battleship to be built for the U.S. Navy, the last one to be in commission, and the site of the Japanese surrender that marked the ending of World War Two, the USS Missouri (BB-63) has earned a place in the U.S. naval history. This impressive book describes the history of this historic ship in great detail and author Stillwell has certainly turned up a mass of information about the events on board and around the BB-63 in its long career . . . the sheer amount of information in this book about the BB-63 makes it an item battleship enthusiasts will find well worth the price." --Warship International "Paul Stillwell has compiled what must now stand as the USS Missouri's definitive history."--American Neptune
