About the Author

Legendary publisher, Anne Ingram, and ex teacher, Peggy O'Donnell, have written best-selling non-fiction books for children including MONEY! MONEY! and THE GREAT INDOORS. Anne has edited many collections and compilations of stories and nurtured the cream of Australia's children's illustrators and writers. In 1984, she won the Lady Cutler Award and in 1985 the Dromleen Medal for her services to Australian Children's Literature. Illustrator, Gregory Rogers, won the 1995 Kate Greenway Medal for his illustratons in WAY HOME. He is one of Australia's most respected and sought after illustrators for children and his work can be seen in the other books in this series.
