About the Author

Howard Zinn, a famed historian and activist, is the author of the best-selling and critically acclaimed A People's History of the United States and ten other books including the Zinn Reader (also available from Tumaround). He received the Eugene V. Debs and Lannan Foundation awards for his writing and political activism. Anthony Arnove is an editor and publisher at South End Press and an adjunct professor at Rhode Island College. He is the editor of Iraq Under Siege: The Deadly Impact of Sanctions and War and member of the International Socialist Organization.
