Megan Wagner Lloyd lives in Washington, DC, with her family. She
loves hiking in the woods and exploring on the beach. Her previous

Brianne is a freelance illustrator and picture-book author who grew
up in Michigan, where she spent most of her time in the woods, in
Lake Michigan, drawing, or reading. She studied creative writing
and art at Macalester College, and then received her MFA in
Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her
previous books include Ike's Incredible Ink and Secret Tree Fort,
and Charlotte the Scientist Is Squished, written by Camille Andros.
