Caroline Coleman loves to write for all ages. She has a fiction MFA
from Brooklyn College, an English degree from Princeton, and two
law degrees she doesn't use anymore. She is also the author of the
novel Loving Soren. She lives in New York City with her family and
is no longer afraid of the dark.
Nadya Bonten-Slenders has been drawing and writing ever since she
was a little girl. As a freelance illustrator, she mostly focuses
on painting commissions and the creation of whimsical animal
prints. After the birth of her son, Luke, she found a great passion
for picture books. Through her art and stories, she invites young
children and their parents to visit a world of imagination through
meeting her cute, whimsical, and adventurous characters. She lives
in the Netherlands with her husband, son, and bunny.
“At the heart of this book is the message that God made us, loves us, and cares for us. It is an especially meaningful message for young boys who may have trouble with their fears. The illustrations by Nadya Bonten-Slenders are vibrant and lush, bringing your children into the story and making it come alive. Uplifting and encouraging, this book will help your children come to God in prayer and find their peace and comfort in Him.”—Aaron Lee, book reviewer at Dive In, Dig Deep
