Nicely presented book with good simple patterns. Aimed more for 2 years and over as there is only really 1 clothes pattern for under 2 years of age. The exception being a bootie shoes and bib pattern.

Excellent book. Practical items and most of all... very good value (compared to buying each patterns separately). Great step-by-step illustrations, and the patterns can be adapted for other variations. Wish there is more of winter things e.g. coat, jacket.

Lovely book, full of great childrens patterns. Most start a size 2, but also found the sizing very generous. One dress in particular was said to be a 2, but was more like a big 4. Has a handy technique section at the back. Would recommend this book for someone who already has a wee bit of sewing experience.

Purchased book for my daughter in law, and she loved it. Contains some great patterns, only complaint is she doesn't have enough time to make all the items that she likes. Thouroughly recommend this book.

I am a beginner at sewing and this is the first pattern book I have bought so that I can start making children's clothes. The patterns are gorgeous, although mostly for girls. Although the instructions seem simple enough on first reading them I have had difficulty with those that I have tried so far. I think perhaps in trying to keep them simple and therefore keeping the word count down, the author has missed a few key steps on each pattern. I have spent quite some time deciphering the patterns, maybe an experienced sewer would be able to fill in the gaps easily but not a total beginner such as myself. Overall though this is a lovely book.

This book is so adorable. I don't even have kids yet, but I guess I'll be prepared now to sew up all the cute outfits, shoes, bibs and beanie hat. There's a cute scarf and hair band project that I'd probably even make for myself as well as some pretty cute flower rosette/embellishments. The instructions are easy to follow and have sketches to provide further detail as well as patterns pieces at the back.

Nice things in this book - a great summer hat pattern, simple thing like a scarf and a bib, and more complicated dresses and pyjamas. Most of the patterns are for girls clothes, but there are a couple of boys things too. Pull-out pattern pieces are great and there are clear illustrations for each item.
