A funny and moving memoir of a young journalist on a mission to make sense of life in a part of the world that never makes sense...
Jonathan Harley was the ABC's New Delhi-based South Asia correspondent for three years, during which he covered coups, cricket corruption scandals, earthquakes, reported from Taliban-ruled Afghanistan and was the only Australian journalist in Kabul on September 11, 2001. He covered the ensuing war and the 2003 conflict in Iraq. Today he is a reporter and producer on programs like 'Foreign Correspondent' and 'The 7.30 Report'. He lives in Sydney with his wife, Sarah Macdonald, broadcaster and author of HOLY COW!, and their daughter Georgina.
