About the Author

Mary Lewis travelled the world from Hawaii to Bangkok, writing delightful and insightful stories of life as she saw it. Many of these appeared in The Nashville Graphic under the title "It's a Long Way from Tobacco Road." Mary Lewis grew up on a tobacco farm in Nash County, North Carolina, and it was there that she found the inspiration for Like the Moon.
