About the Author

Dr. Nina Kahnwald ist seit 2015 Professorin für Informationsmanagement und Leiterin des Bereichs Fachinformationsservices und E-Learning an der Hochschule der Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung (HGU). Zuvor war sie an der Universität Siegen Juniorprofessorin für Bildungsforschung mit Schwerpunkt Informelles Lernen im Erwachsenenalter. Von 2008 bis 2012 leitete sie die Abteilung Medienstrategien am Medienzentrum der TU Dresden, seit 2012 die Sektion Hochschuldidaktik am Internationalen Hochschulinstitut (IHI) der TU Dresden. Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte: virtuelle Gemeinschaften, E-Learning 2.0, Hochschuldidaktik und Online-Forschung.
