About the Author

As a stay-at-home mom, Kim started writing, grabbing snip-its of time in the car rider line or on the bleachers at swim practice. After her kids left the nest, she started submitting her work, sold her first novel at 53, and has been writing like crazy ever since. Her books are well reviewed and, according to RT Book Reviews, feel like they're being told across a kitchen table. She is the author of A Peach of a Pair, Palmetto Moon, and The Wisdom of Hair. While her heart is always in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, she lives in Charlotte and adores hairstylist, librarians, and book junkies like herself.

Reviews

"I was on vacation last week and got to catch up on some reading. One of the books I had been looking forward to absorbing was Kim Boykin's ECHOES OF MERCY. I am a big Kim Boykin fan so I knew opening the pages I was going to like this book and I was not disappointed. I was surprised - because I thought it was going to be a family tale about lowcountry people. It was that plus a mystery. Kim took me back to my South Carolina roots and kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next. If you want to have a fun and exciting visit to the lowcountry then pick up this book!"-Jackie K. Cooper, Book Critic, The Huffington Post "Every word Boykin writes will captivate her readers." --RT Book Reviews "Boykin is a new voice in Southern Women's Fiction." --Booklist "Kim Boykin serves up a story that is good enough to eat...and is guaranteed to entertain." --NYT bestselling author Karen White "Radiant and brimming with Southern charm, Kim Boykin's writing shines!" --NYT bestselling author Mary Alice Monroe
