About the Author

Anton Kruft studied business economics in the USA (Chicago) and socio-economic history in The Netherlands (Utrecht). In his professional career he started as entrepreneur and later as an international business consultant, carrying out numerous assignments for the UN, EU, World Bank and various other government and non-government organisations. At present, Anton Kruft is chairman of a nation-wide research foundation in the Netherlands on issues to international historical developments of the 20th century. In that capacity he has recently issued a publication on the diplomacy that led to the First World War.
