I consider this one of the most innovative, creative and thoughtful books I have read for many years. Sheldon Bach is a great analyst, extremely close to the patients' experience, in real contact with their deep processes and sense of Self, and gifted with both immense humanity and an admirable conceptual clarity and originality. I strongly recommend this wonderful book which opens new windows; in particular, the script on "Chimerism" is in my opinion an authentic masterpiece, a must-read for all analysts.
