About the Author

Aarti Patel is a naturopathic medical doctor who practices in the Pacific Northwest, where she lives with her family. She received her 4-year doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the nation's leading program at Bastyr University. Dr. Patel believes that the journey towards health for each person involves exploring the big picture of symptoms and lifestyle imbalances. She applies this philosophy in her practice, which focuses on chronic illness, endocrinology, autoimmune conditions, stress relief, and homeopathy. Dr. Patel is also the author and illustrator of "Picture It: Homeopathy: A Picture-Based Guide to Homeopathic Remedies and Personalities."
