About the Author

Dr. Surya Bhushan is currently Associate Professor of Economics at the Development Management Institute (DMI), Patna, Bihar. Previously, he worked with the marketing analytics division of Accenture Management Consultancy. He did his M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Economics from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He has authored and presented a number of papers in reputed refereed journals on agricultural productivity measurement. His current research interest includes agricultural development, productivity measurement and livelihood resilience.
