Over the course of its three discs, Film Themes takes listeners on three different thematic journeys through some classic film scores. On the first disc, things get clandestine with a collection of iconic James Bond themes. Looking further back, the second disc explores the world of Westerns with themes from classics like A Fistful of Dollars and The Magnificent Seven. The third disc takes a more refined approach with a collection of film themes that draw from the world of classical music, including A Clockwork Orange's use of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
