Britney Spears announces her seventh studio album is titled Femme Fatale. The iconic global superstar’s title Femme Fatale is a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men. It’s not a conceptual album, Spears is letting the music speak for itself. She’s worked hard on it for two years and she considers it to be her “best album to date,” true to where she is now personally and professionally.

Femme Fatale (Jive Records) is executive produced by Max Martin and Dr. Luke.

Spears is peerless among her contemporaries. Throughout the years, Britney has consistently released hit after hit for over a decade, selling close to 70 million albums cumulatively worldwide.

Few artists have earned the distinction of having five No.1 debut albums, and 24 Top 40 hits. She most recently set a new one-day precedent for single sales with her current No. 1 hit song, “Hold It Against Me.” Jonas Åkerlund shot the video for the song

"Femme Fatale" is Britney Spears's most cohesive album to date. It's energy never relents; from "Till the World Ends" all the way to end - "Criminal" for those who own the standard edition; "Don't Keep Me Waiting" for those who own the deluxe edition; and "Scary" for those who own the Japanese deluxe edition - it is the perfect album to play at clubs.

Any track would've been a suitable single; she could've released them all as singles. My own personal favourites include "Hold It Against Me," "Inside Out," "I Wanna Go," "(Drop Dead) Beautiful," "Trip to Your Heart," "Up N' Down," and "Selfish."

Highly recommend!!!

I looove this! The deluxe edition is well worth it as the other reviewer said as the extra songs are probably some of my favourites. Definitely a lot different from the original Britney, but the songs are super up beat and catchy which is great. Britney can do no wrong!

I ordered the deluxe edition and was happy with this option. The extra songs are great. My only criticism is that the packaging is a really think digipak and is quite fragile. A totally awesome dance record, the lack of ballads is great, it never slows down. Totally Euro sounding, a new sound for Britney, here's hoping she keeps putting out awesome dance albums. Highly recommended.
