Professional Reviews
Q (6/95, p.128) - 3 Stars - Good - "...Singer Jeff Martin has a deep voice, doesn't try to sing like Robert Plant and, although his guitar style, both acoustic and electric, is heavily influenced by Jimmy Page, the emphasis of the album is derived as much from the sounds and styles of Eastern/world music as from hard riffing rock..."

Simon on
The second release from Tea Party infuses their pagan-based rock with an Eastern flavour, culminating in "The Bazaar' and 'Sister Awake'. Lyrically this album delves into themes of magic and the dangers of love. Featuring the singles 'Fire in the Head' and 'Shadows on the Mountainside', The Edges of Twilight is an exceptional follow-on from Splendor Solis, cementing the Canadian band's position amongst the great rock pantheon.
