Georgia's Norman Bebo is a grass-roots phenomenon in the world of Christian pop. His early work caught the attention of Cliff Young, leader of the successful group Caedmon's Call, who enthusiastically signed the singer-songwriter to his Watershed label. Bebo's debut album made a huge international splash for an indie-label release; its successor BIG BLUE SKY ups the ante in several ways.
The album brings Bebo's blend of pop, folk, rock, and spiritual imagery to an even bigger audience than before; he has expanded the acoustic folk-based sound of his previous album, employing bigger production techniques to underline the pop accessibility inherent in his always-melodic approach to contemporary Christian music. The songs delve even further into spiritual matters than previously.
