Still, there are 11 fine tunes here from the king of smooth Southern soul, including classics like "Tired of Being Alone" and "I'm Still in Love with You." Green's high, aching tenor and sensual delivery is forever affecting, while his elegant, funky arrangements are the perfect complement. Though not especially outstanding as a greatest-hits compilation, The Millennium Collection has enough good music to constitute a potent dose of the Reverend Al.
