Good documentaries about NZ's fascinating wildlife. The kakapo episode boasts some rarely seen footage of this unique flightless parrot - the night footage showing the male's 'booming' is superb - my only complaint is that it is unaccompanied by sound! The stilt episode sounded very boring - who would have thought you could make a whole documentary about a stilt?! But you can with wonderful results that show just how fragile the NZ ecosystem is and how everything really must adapt or die. The black stilt is contrasted with the pied stilt, showing how seemingly very small changes in behaviour can drastically improve the survival of a species.
