This video is quite personal to me as I am a mum who gained 60 pounds during my pregnancy. Through this experience, I discovered that there is a way to get your body back after babies and you have to start as soon as your doctor says it is OK. Your entire body needs to reconnect and the muscular structure needs to be pulled back together.

If you dedicate yourself to this video, you will look before pregnancy. It is so important to get your body in great shape and do it quickly. With having a new baby it is easy to forget about yourself, but if you do not feel good you are not helping anyone!

This vide will pull the muscles back together and the dance aerobics will help you shed the weight.

I read a very positive interview with Tracey Anderson in The Age newspaper and was immediately hooked on getting a copy of her new DVD. So I was pretty excited to get started - unfortunately it has been a bit of a let down. Specifically, Tracey Anderson gives very little direction during this DVD, which can be dangerous particularly with post pregancy exercise when core muscles are still recovering - not to mention the added pressure on the body of carrying a new baby around. There is a lot of intense abodominal work and not enough attention is paid to taking care of your back during these moves; as a result I personally experienced excrutiating back pain after doing this DVD 3 days in a row. And I am fairly fit and not over weight. Be careful and go at your own pace! There could also be a more thorough warm down at the end which really stretches the muscles. Overall it is a reasonably good work out - with about 25 mins on abs, 10 mins on legs and bottom (very effective) and 10 on arms. However, I had to do the DVD to actually find this out - there could definitely be a better description of the contents of the work out on the DVD sleeve. Tracey Anderson is relying on her A-List celeb friends such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna to spruik her Method which is fine but there needs to be a little more substance to keep the rest of us coming back for more.
