Hannah Brencher is the 25-year-old creator of The World Needs More Love Letters (moreloveletters.com), which has more than 100,000 visitors per month and 15,000 subscribers after just two years. Her TED talk has received more than 715K views since November 2012. After moving to New York and finding herself in the grip of depression, Hannah began to write letters to leave in coffee shops, on the subway, and in other public places, aimed at offering some kind words to those in need. Since then, her website has been responsible for over 20,000 letters written by volunteers. Hannah has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Glamour, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Real Simple, TODAY.com, Oprah.com, HelloGiggles, the White House's "Women Working to Do Good," and on NBC Nightly News.
